2020-346 – Technical Training Specialist – Waterford Full Time

Purpose: 

The Technical Training Specialist will be responsible for leading, facilitating, and managing the training system and training initiatives in support of the objectives and strategy of the Training and Development Department.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business units to ensure key training requirements are met in line with evolving needs.
• In collaboration with subject matter expert(s) lead the development of the training system with high attention to quality, role-specificity, and engaging learning experiences.
• Design and deliver training interventions to support the delivery of a Training Plan with a specific focus on continuous improvements, advanced training interventions for training materials, programs, processes, and new technologies.
• Provide strong project management training solutions and leadership in developing the training systems.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure business objectives are met through effective learning solutions, administer, oversee, and organize job-specific training programs.
• Interfaces with all good manufacturing practices groups to provide support and oversight of training compliance ensuring compliance in GMP practices and activities.
• Provides support for internal and external audits, act as a point of contact.
• Maintain and update the learning management system (compliance wire).

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Third Level qualification in Training and Development or equivalent qualification essential.
• 3 to 5 years + demonstrated hands-on experience.
• Computer literate essential with knowledge of Learning Management Systems preferable.
• Project Management certification or equivalent demonstrated essential.
• Knowledge of training systems in particular continuous improvement training-related initiatives essential.
• Demonstrated continuous improvements in training systems and technical/advanced training solutions.
