This is a 6-month contract.
The Device Engineer/Specialist will be responsible for device engineering support of combination products through all phases of clinical and commercial finished product (FP) lifecycle, including during development, design/technology transfer, validation, and routine FP commercial manufacturing.
The position requires effective cross-functional collaboration with external contractors and internal partners including internal FP subject matter experts, Product Development and Clinical Supply, Supply Relationship Management, the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, External Manufacturing and Operations, Quality, and Regulatory partners.
This person will also serve as a subject matter expert for the FP aspects of device assembly and packaging for commercial products utilizing drug delivery devices.
